The Look
Now this is one of my extremely rare paintings where I didn't go to town on the details. I just left it very minimal and impressionist.
It's based on an old black and white photo from the 50's or 60's. I love her attitude :)

Honestly so in love with this, as an artist, and a hairstylist this painting speaks to me in the depths of my heart. great job beautiful painting man !
Wow, very kind words @densgirl94 glad you were on late to catch it ;)
No problem @jameshsmitharts you are very talented and I am always excited to see what you post next !!
Love it :)
Thanks, wish I still had that painting.
paint it again?
Ha! Maybe. I'll have to post more vintage black and white one. Some of them are oil on slate.
Looking forward to seeing it! Sometimes doing a series of something allows you to work through an idea I find. I made a lot of carved wooden horses, stylized different ways for awhile.
Oh yeah, I went through many different phases. You might have seen my new painting series. Pop art portraits.
(goes to take a look)
Really great!
As always, I came to cheer you up.
Cheers @soyo ;)
