The Samurai and his Dragon

The story is about a samurai and his dragon fleeing the clutches of the emperor who wants to take the dragon for himself
The process ๐จ
Here are the simple steps I did starting with
(1) A sketch๐ท
(2) Inking ๐ท
Then of course erasing the pencil marks.
(3) Adding crosshatching and some color๐ท
I did some shading using cross hatching and I used color red and dark red for the red circle.
I also aded some clouds which I copied from traditional smoke painting.
(4) I put filter to create a yellowish effect ๐ท
Then it's done!

Awesome work :) the samurai it's very detailed and everything is so well proportioned... That's something many struggle with :(
Thank youuuuuu so much. I do love details. And i draw anime a lot so i guess human proportions are not so hard to me. Although I did a few sketching and erasing too for this.
