I really appreciate the breakdowns you gave for your process. It's incredible how revisiting a work and taking a new approach can create a completely new, vaguer atmosphere, while also seeming (at least to myself) more moving with the lilt in her step (moving forwards between a skip and a run) and beyond that, I feel that the pairing of the magenta and blue tones have made it feel balanced and warm? I'm also fond of the predominance of black vs grey!

Thank you for this feedback!! And you will laugh, at first I was totally unsure if I should use the magenta. I started with a more warm red and thought it looked so much like blood and violence, that I did not like it. After trying out different colour combinations I ended with the shade you can see on the painting ( which I think is ok, because as you stated, it gives a hint of warmth) And I also prefer the black, it reminds me of a primordial ooze where everything starts and ends.
