Musical instruments are true works of art that are mostly made manually. During my stay in the Venezuelan orchestra system I could appreciate different instruments, among my favorites are guitars, flutes and violins because of the beautiful structure they present. That is why I wanted to capture the elegance and beauty of a violin in the drawing that I show below:

PROCESS
To begin I drew with the graphite pencil the silhouette of the violin and the internal details, I also marked the areas where there would be flashes of light and shadow.
With the blue pencils I started painting from the bottom of the violin, playing with the tones until I got a good definition of lights and shadows.
Continuing with the procedure I painted the lateral part of the violin, accentuating the shadow in the curvature of the instrument to give it an effect of depth.
Using a light blue shade I shaded the upper face of the violin leaving some bright flashes that would give a touch of realism to the drawing.
I finished painting the body of the violin, only remaining the most difficult part that was the arm because there they had to mark the strings and they were very thin.
With great precision I was coloring around the strings of the violin, leaving blank the line of each string. At the end of that process I set out to create the shadow of the violin that is projected on the paper. I also realized that it was necessary to accentuate the details of depth, so with a dark blue tone I solved those details.
FINAL RESULT
After accentuating the shadow projected on the page, and highlighting some colors and lighting details, I obtained the following result:
This drawing led me to remember all those moments that I lived in the world of orchestral music, without a doubt music is one of the most wonderful things that exist. Remember that if my work was to your liking you can support it with your vote and leave a comment.
