Dear friends:)
Today I'd love to invite you to visit @animal-shelter with me. It's a small family-type shelter for dogs, cats and birds, and all other animals who are in need or who are disabled. A family couple, Olga and Alex take care of them, feed and cure them. The birds who are able to fly as a result of their care return to wild life, thouse who can't stay in the shelter. The dogs stay in the shelter. Now there're thirteen of them.
No pets live outside, they have a special room where they can get warm and sleep. Here in Kyiv we often collect blankets, food and toys for the shelter to support the animals. If you also want to do it - you can support @animal-shelter with steems or steem dollars, they will be used to buy special therapeutic food for thouse dogs who are victims of poisoning by dog hunters. Some of them need this food constantly, and it's really expernsive here in Ukraine.
I also want to share with you some drawings of the animals I created for their blog:)
