Hi, guys!
I finally returned back to drawing. Yep, in fact I would stay a few more days in tidy up process, but my back just canceled these plans. So, I decided to start with some sketches in copic markers, cause after all it's the most suitable medium to take to the bed and not to soil both.
Yet it's not a portrait of my gecko, just a preparation to it:)
And some process shots:
I wish you all the best and will be happy if you'll support me with vote:)
Love, Inber
First, I wanst to thank you for such a great piece of art (and hope I will not be muted or flag for this as the poster above says). I really much wonder how the final drawing would look as I think this one is already a good one. I hope you back is getting better and we would be able to see it quite soon.

Of course I don't flag for normal comments, i flag only after checking out that it's a pure spam and a person writes the same comment to everyone every 20 seconds:)
Thank you so much, I hope soon I'll jump to creating final piece:)
Oh, that is good to know! Just was a bit scared to write I liked your post after such a frightening lady in your signature (although she is pretty cool in terms of art creation%)) I wish you all the best and eager to see your new creations! I know back pain could be very devastating as it is probably quite hard to sleep as well for you so the body does not re-charge the way it should. But I hope you will recover fully pretty soon and will be able to do what you love! (and it is shown from your work I saw here). Nice meeting you and will keep in touch!
Gotta love geckoes! XD How has yours settled in? Is your back still hurting? :< Hope it feels better soon, do baths and super gentle massage help?
One evening I just asked my hubby for another fish tank, and he said "May be a terrarium?". Oh, poor one, he wasn't knowing what he said XD
It still hurts, but I'm not allowed to either massage it, or making it hot. Only injections, cause... Well, it's too hard for me to explain in English, so cause doc said:)
Looks so real
Does it? :)
Hey, I was just wondering if you've ever used pro-markers before. I've never tried Copic before and am hesitant to switch from Pro to Copic. I've heard a lot of good things about Copic and was just wondering what you thought.
Thanks x
Yes, I tried Pro Markers, but I was absolutely disappointed. They are not that transparent, so they don't allow to make a lot of things that copics do:)
ah ok, thank you! I think it might be time to find out what the copic world has to offer ☺️
It's a brilliant tool indeed. Plus their tips are replaceable, and markers are refillable. So they can stay FOREVER:))))
It looks like as live, nice.
Thank you:)
I like it ! Great blog , follow
Thanks:)
It's wonderful that you've returned to art and already have produced a fantastic piece here that is simply amazing. I would take this drawing any day over a regular photograph of a gecko. I suppose your drawing and colouration just makes it look so much better than a regular photograph.
I'll have to check out these copic markers that you speak of.
Wonderful post, @inber! =)
Perfecto dibujo el contraste y el perfecto uso de colores si se pudiera dar mas de un voto te daria 10 votos
Cute drawing :) I also love to be creative! I just introduced myself to the Steemit community :)
The shine in the middle of his eye is a great touch to make it pop. Overall I quite like it! With copic markers you shouldn't be afraid to go over existing colors like a brush because it blends so nicely and really gets some amazing colors our. My favorite pens!
beautiful:)
Glad you back on the drawing! Are you getting the gecko for Xmas? One like this looks like a friendly chappy. Have a cracking Xmas, hope you on your feet!
