Getting Better With Unreal
For some time now I have been wanting to be able to offer my architectural visualization clients better options for rendering out their scenes. There is a growing trend for this type of animation and even in some cases animation for theatrical motion pictures to be done from within game engines. The graphics capabilities and processing power of modern GPUs have grown so much that high quality final production is moving over from CPUs that are stacked up into giant rendering farms.
For really high end stuff there are still big rendering farms in use but according to industry information everything from previsualization to actual final production of sequences are moving more and more over to real-time or near real-time rendering from within game engines are becoming mainstream.
Great cinematic as always! :)
