Hello and thanks for reading this Brief Article surrounding the question of Subjectivity..
How is it that some artists can literally sell there SHIT in the name of art, for thousands! Whilst millions of us strive to hone our skill and dedicate hours of time in creating something we feel is original and creative?
The answer my friends is subjectivity.. its not what you create and sell, it's HOW!
You could be the best Artist in the world (subjectively speaking) but if you don't have the marketing behind you, your work will never see the light of day.
Isn't startling that some of the most profound and noteworthy pieces of art, and the artist themselves are only recognized for there quality and skill AFTER they have died!?
Franz Kafra, Edgar Allen Poe and of course Vincent Van Gogh (although I could list many more..)
What a morbid world we live in where the only value some of our art has is in our death. We are essentially Martyrs for ART!
Thank you for reading my short rant, please up-vote if you agree and leave a comment telling us which artist you feel was underappreciated in their time.
