How to learn to draw faces in pencil?

To draw realistic faces it is important to know the proportion of each element of the face in a drawing, so we will achieve a better finish.

Whenever we go to draw a face we will start by making a circle that divide in three by two horizontal lines, and at the bottom add a curved shape semiconica, and divide it into two also.

Now if we begin to measure the proportions and locate each element.

The eyes are going to be located right in the center line, taking care of the distance between them. The nose on the next lower line (between the middle and the bottom) and finally the mouth in the line that divides the last part half.
The upper part of the eyebrows are located at the same height as the ears.

For the width of the eyebrows and lips trace two triangles, one that splits from the nose (vertex) to the outer edge of the eye and a second from the center of the eyes (vertice) through the outer edge of the nose.

Another super important aspect to remember is that the proportions of the female face to the male are different.
In men the jaw is wider and square, the eyebrows are thicker and the nose and ears are bigger than women.
