Oil painting of an eye

Today I'm sharing with you my last painting that I've finished a few days ago.

As said in my "introduce yourself" post, I started to paint with oil 8 months ago and now I can't get enough of it and I just paint every time that I have free time! People in my art class thought that I was working all weekend when I was coming on Monday really often with a large amount of work done (I was actually just devoting around 5-6 hours of my whole weekend to paint those pieces and always thought that it was not long enough ;) )
I love to paint eyes, mostly because all of them are completely different with so many different colours.

I also find it really interesting to take pictures during the process of the painting, first of all because it gives you an accurate representation of your painting but also because when you're done looking from what it started to the final piece make you see all of the dedication that you've put to achieve the painting and you feel good about yourself.
