21st Century Rocking Chair

Hi all

It's been a long 18 months of recovery from a double whammy of severe tendonitis in my elbow added to the damaged rotator cuff in the same arm. Almost 8 months of re-habilitation and I'm finally back in my workshop.

A chunk of local wood, considered a weed but very beautiful IMO

After some cutting and sanding it makes a fine sleeve (detachable)

The second detachable sleeve. Note the flattened tip which serves as a mouse pad/beer mat

And from below front. Accidentally reminiscent of the Starship Enterprise
