THIS ! This is why you're one of my favorite artists. So beautiful. (:
Totally agreed, BRAVO @gric!
Thank you guys!
Hi Peter,
Have I seen just the center piece of this painting before? I think I have seen all 3 separated and shown independently haven't I?
The first version of 'Metropolis' is very similar like the center piece of this Triptychon: http://www.gric.at/gallery/bild167.htm
The progress is so interesting!
Love your textures and lights!
Thank you! Also thanks for sharing my work!
yo, this is fucking GORGEOUS! nice work, @gric! i would totally hang this up in my apartment.
do you do prints of any of your work?
ha! nevermind. just checked out your site and see that you do!
Thank you @bucho!
Yes, I do prints - please check my web shop: http://gric.at/shop/
So fascinating!
One more question... In your eyes/mind Peter... What are those ladies in your painting doing?
This painting was a commission. They guy who ordered it wanted a Triptychon based on the Metropolis painting I've painted earlier, but with "ladies". So I painted these ladies into it. Just don't ask me what they are doing because I have no idea!
Epic darkness level / format. The dispair... Beautiful
Thank you!

How long did this one take you?
I don't know how long actually I worked on this. It was in progress over a period of 2 years, but I painted many other pieces during that time.
I bet you were happy to see it finished. =)
Yes I was. This one was quite a tiring project.
Einfach Gigantomanisch !!!
Danke! :-)
