I was never really happy with this little surreal nonsense, it troubled me from the very beginning. I had it unfinished in my studio for about two years until a collector stopped by to pick up another piece. Then he saw it and he wanted it. So I forced myself to finish the painting and I wasn't happy with the result, but he was, so what the hell...

Do you plan the images out or do you make it come forward from the canvas like a Michealangelo sculpture?
In this case I started with a decalcomania texture, but besides this I didn't have any idea how this painting would become. Usually I have most of the concept prepared in the computer before I start to paint.

Wow, amazing! Those are some major art goals. If I may ask, what kind of brushes do you use for something like this? Do you prefer fiberboard over canvas?
I'm using fiberboard for smaller pieces and canvases for large formats. Most of my brushes are with synthetic fibers.

I think I ask all the boring questions but the way you paint seems very reminiscent to drawing with pencil.
When you use those very tiny brushes then it is actually rather drawing than painting.
You have incredible talent.
I actually like like the unfinished versions stage 1 and 2. lol.
