When we miss someone that is very inportant to us, we count the days left to finally see them, I actually do not know if this couple were separated but the emotion they got when they saw each other gave me that vibe, I saw this scene this morning and I realized that it was a really good portrait but as I did not have my camera on me, I decided to "take the picture" in my mind and try to emulate it on a piece of paper.
They were on a higher ground from my point of view and was a bit of a challenge to me to create that perspective just by thought. They did not care who was watching them, they only cared for the kiss they were having and the love they were sharing, we do not see this kind of affection so often and if you are something like me, you are going to see this as something beautiful when it happens, they really share great love from one another and may God blessed them a lot.
Kissing souls.
Creating the outline was the most dificult part because of the perspective, I think I erased the sheet like 5 time until I got what I wanted and you can see how light the lines are and sketchy was at the begining of the drawing
With the right point of view, I began to draw the shadows on her face and gave her hair the right length and movement.
Here I thought it was done but also thought that something was missing as I saw the drawing to simple or like it was lacking something. so I when on ahead and try to creat a "happy accident" instead or a dreadful one.
Final result, I am not really sure if it was a dreadful or a happy accident to paint the background black and emulate a night time, that will be your decision to make. I personally like how it turned out, but any criticism is well received.
I´ts a really good draw, i like the story behind the scene.
