Nina Simone es una de mis artistas favoritas, canta y toca el piano como la vida que no pudo tener. No fue del todo feliz pero su música hizo y sigue haciendo felices a quienes la escuchan. Esta pieza la tengo en pintura y en video gif animado.
Nina Simone is one of my favorite artists, she sings and plays the piano like the life she couldn't have. He was not totally happy but his music made and continues to make those who listen to it happy.

Este llamado Soy agua está inspirado en uno de los cuatro elementos y en la metáfora que utiliza Bruce Lee de fluir como el agua. This call I am water is inspired by one of the four elements and the metaphor used by Bruce Lee to flow like water. “Don't settle into a shape, adapt it and build your own, and let it grow, be like water. Empty your mind, be amorphous, moldable, like water. If you put water in a cup it becomes the cup, if you put water in a bottle it becomes the bottle, if you put it in a kettle it becomes the kettle. Water can flow or it can crush. Be like water, my friend, running water never stagnates; so it is necessary to continue flowing ”. Bruce Lee

En muchas ciudades encontramos ríos contaminados, pero de noche y a la luz de la luna cualquier río vuelve a ser hermoso. Este cuadro es una representación del río Guaire que pasa por avenidas de Caracas y que desemboca como cualquier río en el mar.
In many cities we find polluted rivers, but at night and in the moonlight any river is beautiful again. This painting is a representation of the Guaire River that passes through avenues of Caracas and that flows like any river into the sea.

Partiendo de la idea de ser como el agua, me pregunto qué es ser fuego, cuánto tengo que cavar para convertirme en una chispa o en un gran fuego, para inmolarme, para sentirme capaz de calentar la energía para transformarla, para desaparecer lo inútil y avivar lo que más deseo.
