Some very strange art in Quito, Ecuador.
I wonder if using votes to determine the winner is a good idea. It's pretty easy to use bots or a big group of friends to game the system. I recommend that you declare yourself to be the judge and pick the piece that you like the best.
I know we're supposed to resteem, but I've stopped resteeming. I want my profile to be full of my work, not other people's work. I realize this may disqualify me.
The whole idea is that the people is the jury. They live with it and who else would be qualified to tell the good from the bad? The bot problem is something everyone here has to live with and I could probably offer a few tricks on how to trigger them. I'm quite good at it. I can't however tell a bot vote from a human one. Bots are a part of the ecosystem and I don't worry much about it. It's a game.
I would dislike to be judge. It is not my duty to to tell others what their neighborhoods should look like. I can on the other hand see to it that the promotion is as good as possible and that everyone has a fair chance to enter as equals. Bots or not.
And you are right. Rule number 4 must be met before it is considered a valid entry. Otherwise no one would even know about it and no one would do their jury duty.
Right on man! Best of luck with the contest! I'll be looking forward to seeing what everyone submits.
