Yes, I read the GOT books (first three, anyway) a long time before the series was even an idea. On the whole they've done a pretty good job. Let's hope they don't screw it up too much now!

Thanks very much, @felt.buzz :D Me too, I read the books long ago but I kind of got distracted in the middle of the third book. Will probably try to get back at it, some day!
