I think of a chain of laterns linking the landscape. This is 'colle de finestre' in the Cottian Alps, in Piemonte, Italy. This iconic cycling climb winds up into the mist. One day I might ride my own bike up it one day... I couldn't resist adding elaborate spired temples to mark the high points of the mountain range. Imagine that!
