Hello! Good day to all! It's my first time making a step-by-step process in arts. It's all about balance and symmetry using some of the geometric shapes. Hope you like it! Enjoy!
Materials used:
Pencil
Ballpen
Ruler
Protractor
Oslo paper
Compass
Drawing Process
1.) Using a compass draw a circle and then divide it into 8 equal parts.
( If you have a protractor, for accurate measurement of angles. First, you need to draw a vertical and horizontal line at the center and then measure 45°,90°, 135°, 180°, 225°, 270°, 315°, and 360° where the vertical and horizontal line meets).
2.) Connect the end of the line of angles 45°, 135°, 225° and 315° to form a square. Do the same with the rest of the angles ( 90°, 180°,270° and 360)
3.) Below the 90°, there is an intersection point, connect it with the other intersection points of angles 180°, 270°, and 360°. Do the same with the rest of the intersection points of angles 45°, 135, 125, and 315°.
Just follow the numbers for clearer instruction
Just repeat the process until it looks like this
Adding Details
I will show you 3 different filling styles, solid fill, grain fill and gradient fill (kinda haha). You can fill it with the different style you want thou but I'm using the mentioned styles.
1.) Using a ballpen fill the left triangular shape going down, alternate (left then right).
Do the same on the other side.
2.) For the grain fill, using a ballpen, fill the left triangular shape with many random dots and use a pencil for light shading.
3. For the gradient fill effect, concentrate the dots (as you can see in the picture) and use a pencil for shading.
AAAAAND TADAAAAAAAAAAA!!!
You can put any design at the center according to your preference. And I'm using the steemit logo to fill the center.
Erase all the unnecessary pencil marks and Voila!
I also made another drawing using this method :)
That's all for now! Have a great day ahead!
THANK YOU
FOR STOPPING BY!!
amazing artwork 😱
thanks for the support and upvote!:)
are you an engineering student? We were asked to draw some kind of shapes like these in our engineering drawing subject. :D
yes, actually it's a combination of geometric shapes i learned from our ES class :)
Hmmm. I see. :D Keep it up!

really cool dude..wud like to try ds one pero tinatamad hahahha
hahaha oo nga medyo kailangan ng patience at oras hahaha. thanks!
amazingggggg.
thank you lady:)
Amazing kaayo Kuya! Wa ko kabalo ingon ana diay ka ka siksik
HAHAHAAHAHAHA! gana2 ra ang drawing @barttalks dli nko field hahaha. anyways salamat xD
This post got featured in our First Art compilation!
thank you again :)
Isa sa mga basic drawing namin yan sa Drafting class sa high school. Unfortunately, lage akong may pula sa ganyang gawain.
ang kailangan mo lang ay pasensya xD
