Hello all! Thought I'd share some pictures of a sculpture I made a few years ago in an intro art class.
Our assignment was to create a sculpture connected to our body made out of only cardboard and hot glue.
After many late nights and burnt fingers this was the result!
I decided to make a pair of wings, one side broken and damaged but slowly healing, to show that we can always keep trying despite the circumstances.
I used an X-acto knife to cut and score the cardboard for the full wing, and did a paper mache method for the broken wing to make bones.
To this day, I never want to work with hot glue again. :)
Thanks so much for reading! ~
