Since i am an artist and i have been showing and talking 99% of the time of art makes me not so well educated about cryptos and the cryptoworld. Thanks to my good friend from Canada,i have learned so much this last year and i even made some investments. Mostly i am focusing on Steemit since this is my home.
I joined Steemit in august 2016. That means that i have seen Steem at 3 usd, than even as low as 12 cents. The way how people including me have been loyal to this project,despite the price or the so called whales,or spam etc has been an amazing thing to see through all this time. All the new faces and it is such a great feeling to see people who are still active,posting every day for more than a year straight. I have never left this and i never will,and it has given me a chance to actually make a blog,since i did not have my own blog anywhere else,even tho i have so many thoughts. As an artist i think maybe even too much every day and in my head i can generate thousands of ideas every hour.
That is why i am thinking of powering up some steem. I have done it before and this year i powered up around 1500 USD.
I do not know if this is the best time,maybe someone who is more aware of the situation can give me some advice when to do it better but i really love the place where i am now and Steemit is the first and sometimes the only social media site i open in a day.

Being a relatively new user and experiencing all the recent drama, I really appreciate you sharing your perspective. It renews my faith. I too have powered up sone recently, but am still unsure when the best times are to do things like that. Hello! And welcome:) I have powered up at a very different times. Once when the price was 0,50 cents and also when it was 2 usd. Anyway i think i benefit as well as the platform and we all because i believe in the future. The future of Steemit depends on all of us and i believe we all can do it!
