Roses are often referred to as the symbol of romance and love. They are beautiful and breathtaking to look at.
They are the most popular flowers in the world, so it’s not surprising that they are often found in art as well. However, learning how to draw a rose can be complicated and intimidating for two reasons: first, a rose’s shape continually changes as it blooms making it difficult for the artist to answer the most basic question, "What shape is it?"

it just amazes me when I see how people put depth and texture into their drawings by the use of color and shade. This is lovely.
Another nice piece. I like your shading. I am not great with a pencil my line work tends to look like a kindergarten student. That is okay. We all have our medium. and media.
