It was an order from the #1 Russian national email provider. They've asked me to draw ten different cards with its typical users. All the ideas came from the mail.ru corporation this time and it was cool. So I just had to draw what they said.
References, sketches and stuff
One of the characters had to be like a sports fan. I've searched for some shutterstock references and then I started to think about this popular meme (at least in Russia it was famous).
First I've done this sketch but then went for another one.
I felt we need something similar to that meme here. So I've done this with pencil on paper and they've approved it immideately.
Leaved the sketch multiplied on top of other layers first and then flatten some layers with the sketch together continue drawing on top this time.
Final Result
Russian text: Sport Lover. Science mentions two species: first form is located at gyms and second is at gymbars. Both forms are periodically sicking fans reserving colored scarfs for seasons. Eating a lot. You can always find them in the net at sport. and news.mail.ru
