Idea and References
Really sick order and I was thinking shall I take it or not. I think it was better not to take it because intentions behind this Facebook group was not good. I had big problems with drugs in past and quit only with the help of yoga so I know the impact that substances make into people's perception, health and level of life... But still somehow I took this order and now I feel shame for this. It was a mistake. At least now I can see it clearly.
They wanted me to draw a party in the nightclub and I've got these references to use for the main character, colors and lights.
Sketching the Dance
Done the main girl first because I had her ready in my inspiration folder waiting for the suitable task to draw for months. Then made all these strange and fun dancing guys inspired by other references from Google.
Placed them into prepared Facecook cover layout and started to create the right composition. I had to distort those figures to add more psychodelic feeling.
Coloring stages
My client approved the sketch and I've started to color it. Unfortunately I had no other steps rather than this but I remember I've started coloring from the girl in the airplane during a long flight using iPad 4, old and fat Wacom Intuos Creative Stylus 1 and Procreate application. Then switched to the Macbook Pro with Adobe Photoshop and Wacom Intuos 3 tablet.
Final Variant
They offered me around 1,12 BTC payment for that illustration but I've asked same sum in dollars. I had no interest in Bitcoins that days and had no clue $650 USD will grow up to $22500 in 3 years.
I hope I'm repented now and this is the only payment for it?

That´s a cool story. Money can be so tempting sometimes. It seems that you learned to value your principles as an illustrator. I think those can be such a powerfull tool because many times were are not aware how far our influences can go and I think It´s a good idea to give it a thought and stand by our principles even if it costs us money. But I´ve an interesting question for you. For what you´ve said I understand that you wouldn´t accept that offer today. But, imagine the payment is similar in some cryptocurrency that has potential to grow. How would your current knowledge about crypto-world today affect your judgment? I´ll tell you that I don´t know the answer myself. I forgot to say that the illustration is very good to, it totally convey the party feeling.
