A film based on the bible

We start with a house where there was a fire, The Poet puts a gem on a pedestal and so the house is restored and the valley around it. The Poet is the representation of God, who is remaking his creation.

After the house is rebuilt we can see Mother awakening, Mother is the representation of the earth and all its nature. Mother wakes up and realizes that her husband is not in bed so she looks for him.

Mother takes care of the house and serving the Poet, both live a quiet life in the middle of nowhere. One day the poet brings a man to the house who claims to be a great admirer of him, Man is the representation of Adam that has come to earth.

The Man seems to be sick since every time he cough. The Poet insists that he spend the night in his house, Mother does not strongly agree but he insists. The next morning the Man wakes up and goes to the kitchen where Mother is to light a cigarette, an act that displeases Mother.

After this a woman arrives at the house, she is The Man's wife. The Woman is the representation of Eve, who has come to earth to be
with Adam.

The Poet receives The Woman as he received the Man, Mother does not feel good about receiving one more person without having planned it but The Poet insists again and invites the Man to take a walk out of the house leaving Mother with the Woman.

Then The Poet arrives with The Man who seems to be very tired and unable to breathe well, Man tells them he is in his last days of life and just wanted to meet the man he admired so much, after this The Woman enters the study of the Poet and breaks the gem that was on the pedestal, a gem that represents the forbidden fruit. The desperate Poet closes his study with wooden boards so that no one will come back in. Mother kicks the people out of the house but before they can leave their older son arrives. The Older Son represents Cain, son of Adam.

Filled with anger, the Older Son arrives at the house arguing with his parents about his inheritance, also appears the Younger Son, who represents Abel. All the inheritance of Man will be directed to his Younger Son and the Older would be left with nothing.

This discussion ends with the brothers fighting and The Older killing the Younger, as is reported in the Bible the murder of Abel by his brother Cain. The Poet, the Man and the Woman take the Younger Son to a place where they can help him, the Elder Son escapes from the place.

After not being able to do anything, The Poet arrives at the house. The next day The Poet lends his house so that the relatives of the Man arrive after the wake of the Youngest Son, all this without Mother agreeing, the amount of people who arrive at the house would represent the population that grew constantly, this frustrates Mother, who has to go around the house watching that nothing is broken.

However, the meeting ends when some people break a dishwasher and flood the house with water, which represents the Noah's Ark story. This causes the mother to get upset and kick everyone out of the house.

When kicking everyone out of the house, she argues with The Poet ending the two having sex. The next morning Mother happily affirms to be pregnant.

After this news The Poet takes inspiration and begins to write his poem, then makes it published and is sold becoming a resounding success throughout the world.

Later, with Mother in a state of advanced pregnancy, she prepares a dinner with The Poet to celebrate the success of his poem. However, without warning, the woman who published the poem arrives, Mother in disgust asks the poet to kick them out but he insists that they stay. God being worshiped feels good and does not care what happens around him.

Mother tries to not let more people enter but she does not succeed, people start to steal, break things and breaking the house, this is where all the chaos begins.

The poet disappears in all the moment of chaos with his fans, more and more blind fans arrive at the house causing Mother to despair. The chaos increases when the police arrive and a confrontation begins causing the chaos to increase much more, having scenes with an incredible photograph and a very good palette of colors.

This chaos is increasing more and more when the military arrives at the house and everything becomes a chaotic war, among all this Mother begins to give birth and luckily she finds the Poet who takes her to her room where her son is born, which is the representation of Jesus. During all this chaos diminishes and outside everyone waits for the Poet to come out.

The Poet asks Mother for her son to be seen by everyone but she begs him not to, but faints and when he notices The Poet holds the baby in his arms and goes out to show his son. The mother will prevent it but it is too late, The Poet handed his son to the crowd that is very explicitly mutilated and eaten by the fans. This makes Mother explode with anger, The Poet begs her to forgive them but Mother goes to the basement where there is a drum with fuel.

The Poet once again asks to forgive them and not turn on the fuel, however Mother does and ends up killing everyone in the house leaving only her and The Poet. With serious burns The Poet helps her and lays her down on a table, The Poet asks her for his love and she gives it to him, The Poet takes from the Mother's breast a gem, equal to that of the beginning.

So the poet places the gem on a pedestal and everything is reconstructed, so God makes a clean slate, starting another creation, where another Mother awakens a different aspect.

I loved this movie. At first I just thought it was about a writer and the difficulties he faced with writer's block, then all of a sudden the Bible references hit me! I had to go back and watch it all over again, seeing how obvious it should have been all along.
