Hello dear Stemians,
I'm finally home!!!
14 days of driving and walking through upper half of Italy - starting from Trieste and all the way down to Roma.
We've spent 37 and change hours driving, some +5 hours a day of walking and the rest enjoying amazing food and beautiful sights.
As I was browsing the pics from my phone...
Oh totally forgot, since my trusted Nikon dslr was out of commission, we took our Coolpix as our main camera. So, the first day we went to Pisa and were caught in a tropical storm - it was raining like there's no tomorrow. Our camera was in my backpack witch, apparently got most of the rain and when we came into the car I've discovered that the camera not only got wet but it was actually marinading in half a litre of water. There was actually water inside the viewfinder :)
Anywho, it didn't survive the waterboarding, so all the pics were taken by our phones...
I've noticed a few interesting pics of animal sculptures I've taken, so why not share.
Naturally, a duck gets the first spot - this is at Vinci, taken from the top of Leanardo museum
Children playing with their dog in Siena
Somekind of a I-can't-even nightmare on Adventine hill in Roma
Horsy in Roma
Half of minotaur in Roma - or is it centaur?
Kitty and horsy playing in Roma just under Marco Aurelio
A head a jawbreaker a hand and an arm - it almost looks staged right?
And that's it. I do have some dick pics of Romans in marble, but that's another story.
