New Painting! - "The last Spark of Love" + Progress images

The last dying Ember

is heroically saved by an unknown hero. Yesterday I finished the painting "The last Spark of Love". I am happy that I can present you the final version of it today, together with some images from the process.

Normally I don't have anything specific in mind when I start painting as I love to get lost in the process of just 'creating something nice'. But from time to time I have an idea of what I want to capture on the canvas, like with this piece here. I was thinking about a world where all love is lost and there is only one human being left on earth still carrying the sparks of love. This girl holds the power to set the people on fire again, but nobody knows where she hides from this world gone mad.

But there is a hero out there. Somebody who is brave enough to go on the journey to find her and so save the planet from Darkness.
