Actually she has done calligraphy ever since she was a little girl in Japan. Is there a 書道 club in jr high? (I should ask her, but she is away at work right now). Anyway, she has won awards for her calligraphy all thru school. I try to learn from her, but it is very challenging! I understand well how difficult it is to control that brush, so I really respect your art.
