This weekend I was invited over to my uncles house for a small family reunion aswell as enjoy some BBQ food and some beers.
My auntie Pauline who was visiting the UK from Hong Kong was also there to catch up and to enjoy the food... (not so much the sun, they have that in HK). After we were all lethargic from eating too many sausages she decided to whip out her Cock.... And no its not the falic type! You filthy minded people, it was a model of a Cockerel made from paper.
A little bit of back story, Pauline is Paper Installation Artist in Hong Kong and she makes a living creating art and displays from paper. All hand crafted! The installations that she's done have ranged from local companies, fashion to high end retail brands, such as Christian Dior and Lane Crawford.
The Cockerel you see is made from a wire framework, then individual pieces of hand-cut paper is slowly attached to the framework bit by bit.

She had to manually make 34 chickens and Cockerels over the course of a month as part of a Chinese New Year celebrations. Previously done a Horse and this year she has to do something for the Year of the Dog.

I'm sure you'll agree that the level of detail is incredible and the amount of patience to do such a thing must be quite testing.
Anyway I thought I would just share a little bit from my creative family. If you want to see more of her work you can find the various links below:
