Not read any work by Miki Sato but I don't think I can get into new manga anymore just reread my favs. I was a bit of a wannabe mangaka in my early years and this has reminded me I still have some of the Japanese screen tones that are applied by hand. It's probably all Photoshop now but the original way of hand cutting the tones and rubbing them to stick over the inked outline was so hard! I guess that's why I still have them lol. Anyway thanks for reminding me of my youth. Will check out Miki Sato too.
