I'm new on steemit, just a week ago and I'm learning everyday, bit by bit about steemit. As I am an artist/illustrator I find it hard to get paid for my illustrations in the real world, to get around. So steemit, sounds very promising for me as an artist.
timetraveller is based upon Kurt Vonnegut's Novel Slaughterhouse 5
The first reason why I joined the steemit community is to make money, like everybody does. But how? I'm good at arts, this is what I love doing! So I am trying to promote myself as an artist on steemit. I don't know how yet. But after reading stellebella's post about: how I got my first 12000 in a month on steamit, something pops up in my head, what she's writing is something I've heard before: Give value to the world!
In the real world we do that too, so why not here also? By helping, supporting etc. So it makes sense that the best posts are the ones that give big value to others.
So that's what my future blogs are gonna be about. How can I as an artist give value to the world?!
It is hard open up to world, even on the internet, where there is no real person in front of you, but in the back of your mind there is a voice that's saying: the whole world is gonna know me, should I do it? should I not do it?..
Like 2pac said: KEEP IT REAL!
Talk about the world, about the ones you care most for, the people, communities. I think the steemit rewarding system is very motivating to do so!
Give value and keep posting!
do it! :) I like @clains simple but effective advice. https://steemit.com/steemit/@clains/how-i-earned-usd100-000-with-steemit
commitment, is a form of trust. Invest in Steemit, invest in yourself! :D
I like your advise though: DO IT! :D
