This is well written, and aesthetically satisfying. Back then I usually get frustrated why my caligraphy strokes look like scribbles or some alien form of comic sans; but as you said it is not just about the pen; any form of hobby which you would like to master takes a great deal of practice and learning. Thank you for this awesome post. Instead of aspiring to get the best pinteresty calligraphy of fancy words at first try; ill try my hand first with the letter drills. And maybe then my squi-bbles, would actually turn jane austen worthy.
