[ENG] Oil Pastels: Buddy (LISA: the Joyful FAN-ART) [Process]

in #art6 years ago (edited)

¡Hi, have a nice day buddy!

♡(。- ω -)

I'm going to show you guys the process of a fanart that i did a couple of days ago, but i'm having some internet problems that's why I could not upload it this days. It's about one of my favorites games LISA developed by Dingaling and you can find it on STEAM plataform. Here's the developer's twitter: https://twitter.com/COMETandCROW?lang=es

Materials that i used in this Fan-Art: Oil Pastel, Graphite, Willow Charcoal.

Buddy is the main character of LISA: the Joyful (she's a girl) which is a sequel of the game called LISA: the Painful, whose plot unfolds in a post-apocalyptic world (apparently, without women), a world where humans are being affected by an experimental drug called JOY.
I will not go into more details because I could give you guys some Spoilers and it's a very good game, if you like RPG you should try it.

A little sketch of MY INTERPRETATION of her face.

I began to make the hands and i used the white color to create a pasty background so i could add the Salmon Pink color for the skin.

I delimited the areas of the hair and began to add the shadows of the hands, the neck and part of her face.

I focused a bit more on the face so it did not look too flat, I did it using the Salmon Pink + Brown color and a color that is on the palette that has no name and is more like a violet brown.

I started to color the hair and for the bandage's blood i used a bit of Crimson Red + Orange + Violet in watercolors.

This is how my work area looks like when I'm drawing or painting <(¯ ﹌ ¯)>. I color the Poncho with the wax crayon that i made a few weeks ago with floor pigment.

This was going to be the final result, BUT, I realized that the sword did not look like the original, so I erased the part of the guard and did it again (⇀‸↼ ")

I hope you enjoyed the process! thank you for reading my posts! see ya' buddy!
