Thank you for visiting.

For those interested in the details........

The Lily in each of its stages is a lovely sight.  Seeking to capture and express it's beauty artistically is the result which you find in this post.....after careful study.  A study of the subject in B&W.....a study of the subject in a variety of backgrounds.....including a copy of one of Van Gogh's paintings.

If you have a subject that fascinates.....study various presentations, possibilities and its properties for an interesting outcome.

Kind Regards,

bleujay

stunning art. You create works of art that are very beautiful. Thank you for sharing.

Very pretty!

Greetings @nat-expressions.

What a lovely compliment......apppreciate you stopping by.

You are right @bleujay lillies always fascinated artists, you can find so many works and different reflections. I like the way how you create your work, you study the object first and as we know in order to give an object 3d effect, you have to correctly reflect highlights and shadows, that is the best with the help of black and white view, then you see all shades of grey too, that helps to put more color or less.
For your painting you have a nice capture of sky with a cloud that you turned from landscape view to portrait in order to place your Lily. That is amazing, thank you for sharing the process of your thoguhts and beauty of lily :)

Greetings @stef1.

Thank you for dropping by with your lovely artistic comment.....always appreciate hearing your artistic viewpoint.

Lovely work you have out there.

Here's wishing you and yours a lovely week end. ^__^

Cheers!

Awesome style. Love the watercolor sense.

Thank you @fr3eze for your kind reply.

Thanks for sharing this artwork. They are stunning. I only recently discovered @bleujay’s artwork thanks to following @maarnio. And I nearly missed this post had I not finally set aside time to sort through my feed for this week.

I have a canvas similar to the first art price in my home. I love the way the falls so naturally. And the colors are so natural and soothing.

I am curious, what is the price tags for items 1 and 2?

Greetings @mellofello.

Appreciate hearing you enjoyed the artwork and your kind compliment.

Thank you to @maarnio for the reSteem.

bentleycapital is technically my husband's account as bleujay would rather see her artwork presented more traditionally through a representative......however bleujay manages the account.....an art gallery as it were......make sense? ^__^

It sounds like you have capacity for art......always enjoy hearing of it.

Regarding your kind query about the price of the artwork......apologies, I really have not looked into it. @denmarkguy runs a gallery @reddragonfly ......perhaps he would have an idea....I could put the query to him.

Some thoughts on the matter were this.....

Since there are such things as smart contracts....even through the cryptocurrency byteball wallet......the artist could give up any right to the digital image for future use and sign it over to the buyer....insuring the buyer had a one of a kind product.....however it would be up to the buyer to print it...frame it....etc....and when compared to what the costs for artists to present work materially are.....I would imagine one is talking about a lower price for the work as well.

Thank you for your interest.

Cheers!

Hi @bleujay, thanks for your response. Although I do appreciate art, I have not made any expensive purchases. Mostly, I would attend swap meets or flea markets and pick up inexpensive artworks that I like. They are nothing fancy. I am not at the point in my life where I can purchase expensive artwork just yet.

You are actually the first artist that I have inquired about the price of an artwork. There is something I really like about your style. I also had to check with my wife if also like what I like and luckily she does.

Having said that, I would be curious to know the price of the digital image. If it is not too much trouble, would you please reach out to @denmarkguy for guidance?

Greetings @mellofello,

Apologies for taking so long to get back to you.

Do you have an account in Steem.chat or Discord and we can chat there.

Thank you.

Cheers!

Hi @bleujay, sorry for the delayed response. I haven't been online much since my time has been consumed by a move. My Steem.chat name is Mello and my discord name is MelloFello#0801.

I'm a bot. I detect haiku.

I'm really considering buying a sketch pen for my touchscreen, so i can draw with a little more detail in paint 3D. I'd probably make designing far easier. Another excellent post!

Apologies for the lateness of this reply @hansenatortravel

You will be surprised how easy it is to use....I do hope you decide to purchase one.

Thank you for your kind words regarding the post.

All the best to you.

I'll see if I can find one. The late reply was Ok. Haha. I was a little late myself. Weekends and Steemit don't always go together for me.

Congratulation for nice photo of slye Lily
