I have wanted to get a tattoo for a while that is an amalgamation of Frankenstein's Monster (one of my favorite literary characters) and Heath Ledger's depiction of Joker (one of my favorite cinematic characters). Initially, the mash-up was supposed to be Frankenstein's Monster with a Scottish woad paint stripe down his face, with the Joker's face inside of the stripe. A quote from the Frankenstein book and the Dark Knight movie would be included. I attempted to recreate this look, but it took on its own form and looks more like a member from a German 1970's version of a Marilyn Manson band. That last statement made me realize how much I really just need some sleep. Oh, and the two quotes got mashed together as well. I hope you enjoy it either way.
