Emoticons interacting with real faces; "inspired" by useless fakebook chatting and fakebook liking and stuff. I began this project shortly after the angry and "wow" and sad emoticons appeared as options apart from the "like". It's amazing to me to what extend our lives have changed with social media and with apps and smart phones and what-not and people have absorbed it all as easily as a child learning how to pause a video with the shift button. It's been more that 10 years since I wrote an actual letter with a pen. Things have changed real fast, emoticons and giffs are like a separate alphabet. And this language to me is interesting and silly, a bit like some primal doodle code and in the same time it is so empty of actual human emotion. It's like romance between computers. Crazy situation if you think about it:) ;)уинк уинк;)
