I get quite a few people coming to me "you should just give me your work and not charge or give me a big discount" for one reason or another. I get "I am making a movie and I will feature your work for screen credit" a couple times a year. Just recently got "I am your biggest fan please give my 50% off. I have memorized your bio, that should count for something" .The best one I had was someone wanting about $1000 worth of work for free claiming that they were a fashion designer getting ready for a new york show and my accessories would be all over the fashion press if I just gave it to them for free. Promise. And I get "I am a student and can't pay, would you please just give me something" several times a year.
