Hello steemit community ... in this new post I want to teach you a little of what I am learning to do in my free time.
This art is called papercraft and I will give you a brief explanation of what it is about. This art is a construction of three-dimensional figures of paper, similar to origami. However, it differs from origami in that its patterns can consist of many pieces of paper cut with scissors and attached with glue, which contradicts the philosophy of origami that only contemplates folding paper and never cut or paste it.
First of all you start looking for a model to make the papercraft, there are many models to start with this art, there are models for beginners and for advanced and for experts, I explain that I am a beginner and actually I was wrong in choosing the model because instead of choosing a beginner I chose a more advanced model, but I still followed the same model. Here I will show you step by step how was the elaboration I hope you like it.
The first papercraft I chose is from an animated series called pokemon and this model is a pokemon called gengar which took 10 days to finish. Eye only did it in my free time of 2 to 3 hours daily
Step 1
The first step is to print the parts on sheets to start cutting them
Step #2
As you can see, this is the second step after trimming all the parts, starting to fold piece by piece.
Step #3
In this step it was where I had more time. Because in this step the construction of gengar begins, as you can see I started from the bottom upwards little by little in the photos it shows that I am still a beginner, I do not work very well with the glue. Here little by little you can see how it was grasping gengar form
Step #4
Here already finished gengar. As you can see, it was not the same as the sheet seen in step number 1. You can see some white parts and show that I am new to this papercraft
Nice work of paper
I make sketches on paper @sketchart
