Thats very helpful..thank for that. Can you say that with portraits you rather use oil than acrylic? Or is it more just the advantage of making changes because of the time it takes to dry?

For me, I am more comfortable with using oils in portraits because of the blending abilities of it. In acrylic since it dries quickly, most probably you will use the glazing technique, and I am not really a fan of that. And yep the time is a very big factor
Thanks for coming back to me. I am all about trying as many things and techniques while making some art. The thing is that when I try something new, I like that too, and after a while I have too many stuff lying around lol.. So the painting with oil or acrylic may have to wait a bit. But its good to have some more information.. thank you!
Hahaha! That's exactly how I feel right now. I have tried both paints, but it just really depends on you and what you're comfortable with. It's also good if you know every mediums, so still a win-win situation.
