I think that the problem is what the conception of art is - not your conception, but that of the 'artistic community'. They have lost sight of what art is. So have many art aficionados. If some kid putting glasses on the floor can fool them (http://thechive.com/2016/05/27/glasses-on-floor-mistaken-for-art-7-photos/), then it speaks volumes for their ability to judge what art is.

There is a difference between what you have seen and this:

I checked the link in your comment and it says a lot about the situation. I also enjoyed the art by the Japanese master.
