Snowfall Hat Crochet Pattern Tutorial:

Hello Steemit friends this week i made this snow fall hat so i want to share with you guys hope you like this.

This pattern also i am writing below so if any body interested to make they can try

SC – single crochet HDC - half double crochet*
DC - double crochet. ST – stitch
BLO – back loop CH – chain
DC2Tog – double crochet 2 together.

1. Chain 8 and HDC in 2nd chain from the hook and then HDC in each remaining chain. Total should be 7 HDC and then turn CH 1 and HDC in the same stitch and remaining chain do HDC in back loop and in last do HDC in both loops together and then turn. Again do the [CH1, HDC in same stitch, HDC 5 BLO, HDC in last stitch (both loops)]. This pattern repeats till you reach your head circumference length. For me 15 inches so I did total 46 rows.
2. Once you complete the band then by using slip stitch close both sides and make a round. And then work single crochet on the top of the band total stiches should be 72.
3. Now change the second color and CH 2, DC in the same ST and DC in each ST around. Snow fall pattern works on multiple of 4 so stitch count is important.
4. Now we work on snow fall 2SC and pick up yellow color thread and pull through the needle and leave the yellow color and pick up blue and finish SC so that only v shape will looks like snow fall and then continue (3SC and 1SC Snow fall) repeat this pattern till the end of the round.
5. Continue this till 4 rounds and do decrease in the next 4 rounds (chain 2 DC in the same St, DC2Tog) repeat this till end of the decrease rounds. When you reach round 8 now cut the yarn by leaving long tail. Now with the yarn needle close the round and tight enough to secure the stiches in reverse side and you finish your hat by doing pom pom on the top of your hat.
