Sometimes the shot is just there, and you just shoot it. Sometimes one has to work at it a bit. Spent several hours attempting to capture essential oils spraying from a pomelo peel, with marginal success. Pictures of the pith were an unexpected bonus.
I find the essential oil of pomelo to be more floral than other citruses, a delight to peel, unavailable bottled.
Pomelo is one of several original citruses, from which all the rest have been genetically engineered.
Individual juice sacks are called vesicles.
This concept shoot was sticky and fragrant; ultimately there was fruit salad.
I recommend the pomelo experience.
