ARK is a brand new coin, with very little content on the internet. Based on my research, this cryptocurrency has lot of potential. The dev team claim that ARK transaction is 8 times faster than bitcoin transaction. The coin is cheap now, easy to accumulate. Over next six months, they have lot of good releases, should easily shoot up to $5.
Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS)
ARK is built to utilize a consensus mechanism known as Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) (https://blog.ark.io/dpos-and-ark-voting-explained-68596a171ca1). While DPoS has been around for quite some time, it has not received the same level of exposure as Proof of Work (PoW) and Proof of Stake (PoS). It means ARK is not mined. The delegates would forge the ARK and they get portion of the transaction fee. ARK have 51 main delegates. These main delegates can change dynamically based on number of votes each one have. Anyone can become a delegate. I have voted a delegate - arkpool, who shares 80% of the forged coins proportionally to voters. It is very easy to staking process. Just send ur coins to ARK client and send a vote to a delegate. We can keep sending coins to wallet and ARK will automatically take care of staking for new coins.
