On an island outside the archipelago, the Swedish architects of In Praise Of Shadows Arkitektur have designed a group of new houses for the summer and weekend of a family of three generations.
The main house is stretched at the edge of a cliff with magnificent views of the ocean to the west. A writing studio to the north is separated from the large central living room. In the center of the house, a generous kitchen extends on an adjacent terrace. In the southern part of the building, a sleeping area with a bedroom and a bathroom facing south, to the low vegetation of blueberry plants. The other rooms are in the east. The different volumes are juxtaposed to become one with the terrain and create a number of outdoor spaces protected from the wind.
