Early architecture in Pennsylvania, U.S.A. In the US it is not as common to see such unique buildings as it is in European Countries. This structure and the accompanying buildings are a gem.

Where is youβre farm located?
I am in West Virginia. Are you nearby?
Porobably even further from me than 4hrs then. I Live in southeastern WV. Around the capital Charleston.
Iβve yet to meet anybody that lives less than several hours away on Steemit.
curious as to where that is. and is house or public?
The building is now part of the Berwick Historical Society and you can tour the main mansion. I am not sure if you can enter this building in my entry or if it's a home.

hmmm thought it looked familiar. my mom used to live off the Berwick Turnpike near Towanda. Love those old gothic structures.
np. im a big PA history buff, spent many years there researching german heritage, and my dad was an architect so i have a love of old buildings. if you ever get a chance, check out the moravian tile works and museum in doylestown. amazing stuff.
I began looking into German heritage about two years ago, because I found I had more than I had been aware of. There is a lot of it to study in PA, that's for sure, especially down around the SE area of the state!
An architect? That's pretty cool. Must have been interesting to grow up around him!
