The Arc de Triomphe It is a monument located at the junction between the Paseo de Lluís Companys, the Paseo de San Juan and the Ronda de San Pedro, in the city of Barcelona (Spain). It was designed by the architect Josep Vilaseca as the main entrance to the 1888 Universal exhibition of Barcelona. The sculptural decoration was by Josep Reynés, Josep Llimona, Antoni Vilanova, Torquat Tasso, Manuel Fuxà and Pere Carbonell. This work is registered as a cultural asset of Local interest (BCIL) in the inventory of the Catalan cultural heritage

Very nice photo. It is interesting how different cultures use arches as architectural center pieces and monuments. It looks very ornate. How much detail is in the carvings along the top? -@bozz
