📷 Railway station «Krasnodar-1»

Hello, my dearest friends! Stations-is not only the business card of the city, but also the historical memory of many events. The attractive power of stations and their architecture, "hospitable gates" always leave some associations and unique image.

Krasnodar residents are lucky in this regard, as our station is not only very beautiful, but also convenient.

Every day thousands of passengers come here. But the first station in Ekaterinodar was opened in 1889.

During the war, the station was badly damaged and after 4 years it was decided to build a new, three times the area of the former pre-revolutionary building.

Today the railway station is an architectural monument, and the city of Krasnodar has become a major hub for travel to the black sea coast. Today, coming to our city, many tourists go to the Crimea already on the new Crimean bridge.

Kuban is happy to show tourists and its attractions: in addition to the gentle sea, we have a mysterious cave, mountains and rocks, a lot of cultural places.

The new station was built by the architect Alexei Nikolayevich Dushkin in late 1949. The main building of the station with a high Central axis looks quite impressive on the station square of our city.

In addition, the high tower with a spire makes the station building more visible.

But on the facade there are many original towers with stucco, and remained the emblem of the Soviet Union, with the rising sun, and ears of wheat...

In the decoration of the building used different valuable materials. Inside, all lined with beautiful marble tiles, and the corridors and doors of the building still attract the attention of visitors with massive oak panels.

From the bridge you can watch and long-distance trains, freight trains.

In 1952, after the completion of construction, the tower, there were two-meter clock, which today shows the exact time.

This tower is also decorated with all kinds of sculptures, railings and high columns with small carved decorations.

And once the station square looked like this, in freedom from a dozen Parking lots and hundreds of cars.

By 2000 there were completed two-storey "wings" of the extension, as well as several underground passages to the platform.

Recently, the area for new platforms has been expanded.

I like the station interesting stucco. You can see the stone lace color trim, and an interesting folk ornament.
