Arabic for Beginners - 5 expressions a day #2

Hello everyone! It is our second day of Arabic for Beginners.

Remember that I will be using numbers as follow:

2 refers to the so called "Hamza". it is usually spelled like the i in inn or like eh.
3 refers to the 'ayn , similar to 3ali = Ali
5 refers to Kh, and would sound like Khan or Bach
7 refers to the ḥāʾ, like that of Mohammed Salah --> Mo7amed Sala7
9 refers to the ghayn, spelled like the French R

ou = oo
Today new expressions:

  1. What's your name: shou ismak (m) / ismik (f)?
  2. my name is: ismi Alex or simply Alex
  3. nice to meet you: tsharrafna (slang)
  4. I'm pleased to meet you: nbasatot sheftak (m) / sheftik (f)
  5. where is the nearest restaurant: wen a2rab mat3am
