Hi, Dear Steemians Friends.
On this beautiful day and wonderful occasion, I extend my warmest congratulations to all Muslims in the world
Eid al-Fitr is a public holiday in Morocco that is eagerly awaited and celebrated by all the people. Eid al-Fitr is the first day of the Islamic month of Shawwal and the end of the previous month of fasting, prayer and supplication; the month of Ramadan.
Eid al-Fitr is primarily a religious ceremony in Morocco. Most people in the early morning attend the Eid prayer service in the area mosque and listen to the sermon there too. Then they go home to celebrate through a feast with family and friends.
Many traditional pastry and pastry dishes are served for Eid al-Fitr, as well as mutton, peaches, chicken, lemon, olives, and various beef dishes.
The payment of "Zakat al-Fitr" is a large part of the celebration of this holiday, a mandatory religious gift offered in the form of food or equivalent money given to the poor so they can also celebrate the feast.
Eid Mubarak
