Apple has removed the Telegram application for encrypted messages from its Appstore store after receiving a number of complaints about hosting the application for inappropriate content, as iPhone users can no longer download the Russian chat application.
According to India's Phonearena, Apple has not disclosed the nature of this inappropriate content, but is likely to violate Apple's application developer guidelines. Each application must have filters and mechanisms to detect and report spam, as well as tools to block users who publish non-content Decent cross application.
The absence of application was observed after a group of Reddit users were asked about their inability to find the Telegram or Telegram X application through the store. Users then turned to Twitter to ask the same question to developer Pavel Duroff, who responded to these questions and responded to the Twitter pioneers.
"We have been notified by Apple about the availability of inappropriate content to users across the application, which has resulted in the two applications being permanently removed from the store. Once we have the necessary protection, we expect the applications to go back to the store," Duroff said.
Thank you for such a concise and well-written article about the event. It's unfortunate, but I believe that Telegram handled the situation very professionally.
Anyway, I also wrote a similar article documenting the incident, feel free to check it out and leave an upvote! Thank you!
